Holiday Lunch at Lorelai's

From December 22nd to January 6th, guests can purchase lunch (holiday fare) after their Studio Tour and enjoy the recreated exterior sets from Gilmore Girls with authentic props and costumes on display at the original Lorelai’s house set and see the iconic Gazebo. All guests will have access to the set once they complete their tour and arrive at Stage 48.

Q:        What is this event?

A:        As part of the Studio Tour, you will be able to experience the recreated exterior sets in Stars Hollow, Connecticut from the popular Gilmore Girls TV show. The original costumes from the show will be on display as well as Lorelai’s redecorated house for photo-ops. You can even take a photo in the iconic gazebo! Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat after your tour, there will be plenty of holiday-themed food available for purchase onsite.

 

Q:        When does this start and end?

A:        Starts December 22, 2018 to January 6, 2019

 

Q:        Is this a separate ticketed event? Or how do I purchase tickets?

A:         This is NOT a separate ticketed event and is offered as part of the Studio Tour. You will need to have a valid Studio Tour ticket for that day.

 

Q:        Is the meal included?

A:         The meal is NOT included and can be purchased onsite. There will be plenty of holiday-themed food to enjoy.

 

Q:        What type of food will be offered?

A:         We will have a holiday fare including: Oven Roasted Turkey Breast with Cranberry-Shallot Sauce, Lemon Garlic Roasted Chicken, Veggie Burgers, Fries, Homestyle Macaroni Salad, Garlic Buttered Corn, Salads and more available for purchase.

 

Q:        Will we be able to go inside Lorelai's house?

A:         No, you will not be able to go inside the house as the interior scenes were filmed on a soundstage. However, you will be able to explore the original exterior set and take as many photos as you like on the decorated porch, yard and foyer where so many beloved scenes were shot.

 

Q:       How long is the tour?

A:        The Studio Tour is roughly 2.5 to 3 hours, including a guided and self-guided portion. The finale of the tour concludes at Stage 48: Script to Screen, which is self-guided and allows you to explore the stage and Lorelai’s exterior house set at your leisure.
