For the month of June, Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood honors Pride Month with a vibrant, new installation that invites guests to celebrate identity, self-expression and representation in iconic Warner Bros. movies and TV. The installation highlights characters who have helped shape LGBTQ+ visibility and representation on screen—through bold style, emotional depth, and original storytelling.

Through curated props and costumes, the exhibit mingles fashion and narrative from sequined stage glamour to weathered coats and iconic styles worn by memorable characters. Throughout the exhibit, the staging emphasizes color, texture, and silhouette. The stills from the productions hang behind the mannequins to contextualize them from the movie or tv shows.

Henson as Shug Avery’s striking red ensemble from The Color Purple, Matt Bomer as Negative Man’s signature wrapped look from Doom Patrol, Nelsan Ellis as Lafayette Reynolds’ bold, expressive style from True Blood, and Bill Hader as Richie Tozier’s leather jacket from IT: Chapter Two, now on display.

Each character featured reflects a piece of the LGBTQ+ journey, whether through bold self-expression, personal struggle, humor, or resilience. These costumes and props celebrate, not only Pride Month, but the creative teams and storytellers who continue to shine light, spread awareness and expand visibility and inclusivity in the industry, and inspire connection and compassion.
